Hello everybody!

Flames is also my favourite song on the CD. I love the guitar. The beginning is slowly, there is a sort of tension in it, and then it explodes! Great! I think the lyrics are about JT´s feelings about the comeback, that he was expecting and waiting for it ("I had the feeling this day would come")I like the phrase "Sorry mama for what I´ve become" The song is very personal.

What does he mean when he says "sorry mama for what I've become". What has he become? Would anyone like to guess?

I'm also curious what he means when he says "the pressure is mounting...there's something I've got to be". Some critics have suggested he might not be enjoying what he's doing. Do you think this is true? Personally, I think he's just referring to the pressure of being a songwriter for the band.

Flames is also my favourite song on the CD. I find that it is one of the most complete song. But I like also all the other songs [SM=x237809]

..that's a good point. I've often wondered if Joey's softer solo work was done to please his parents, at least maybe that was part of the reason.

Flames is great. The truth is that Joey IS music. He can write music in all the existing styles and he manages to do something great: also his solo stuff is great: he is incredible![SM=x237816]

Flames
Well I think too, tht every mom in this world wants her child to learn a "respectable" job, a job which is sure. When you are a Rockstar you never know, there are ups and downs. its hard to have a certain future when you are a rockstar.

I´m not sure about the word pressure. But I think Joey is referring to a positive pressure, in the sense of tension. I don't know if the word pressure has also this meaning. English is not my native language.
