non a caso questo è considerato il miglior album di nick cave, oltre ad un capolavoro in generale......

O mio DIO......
lo vidi a napoli in luglio dello scorso anno e .... porca miseria ci ha fatti secchi tutti .....

The good son rappresenta l'estasi decadente, il sogno impossibile di raggiungere quella figura che nè prima nè adesso nè mai riuscirà di intendere.
E' vero che forse è il miglior album del catartico Cave, ma sua discografia è un infinito susseguirsi di emozioni: ballate, attimi di violenza esistenziale, del peccato fonte dell'esistenza stessa e di quella quiete che l'anima mai riuscirà a raggiungere.
Anch'io l'ho visto in concerto. Non credo che lo dimenticherò
